John and I visited Barmouth just after my first book was published. We took a tour of the town to take photos of the places which feature in The Barmouth Affairs. You might recognise some of these places from the story.
Barmouth Beach and the iconic bridge.
Owen's cottage in small alleyway hugging the side of the mountain.
The Royal Hotel named 'The Pendragon' in my story.
The school which George and Danny attend and where Dai often chats to Tony,
The railway station where Bethan is met by her parents.
The church which sits high above the town.
The bed and breakfast where Jim stays when he comes house-hunting.
The café where Babs and Hazel meet with their children.
The house which Jim and Isabella buy in Bonttdu (pronounced Bont thee). This is the actual house which John's grandparents owned.
And finally, John and I on the beach.
