My first book

Forsaking all others, 'til death do us part. It’s 1974, and two very different men have been unable to maintain their marriage vows. The effect of their unfaithfulness on their wives, Isabella and Babs, is profound.

When an accident draws these two women together, they learn more about their husbands’ infidelities. As their friendship blossoms, they both realise that the pain and hurt caused by their men puts each of their marriages under serious threat.

But in the small Welsh coastal town of Barmouth, everyone knows everyone else’s business. Can Isabella and Babs bring together the colourful local characters, as well as the incomers, and find a way to save their relationships? And are these even the right ones to save?

Based on true events, The Barmouth Affairs is a heart-warming, nostalgic and atmospheric story of life, love, and two women’s search for happiness.

My next book

The Streams

The members of one family have a magical gift: they can all see ‘Streams’. These colourful ribbons swirl around every individual and animal, each colour indicative of an emotion.

However, the family members aren’t using their gift positively and are, in fact, thoroughly unpleasant characters. They are the seven deadly sins personified and their behaviour and characteristics reflect their sin.

The matriarch, Iris, gives them an ultimatum which is received by each family member differently. Some are happy to go along with her but others fight against her.

This is a story of good and bad. It is a realistic reflection of humankind showing that those who make changes in their lives can become better. But those who don't will face the consequences.
